Natural and synthetic resins are the essential adhesion in the production of casting. But due to the big difference in the structure and property difference between the sand and resin, It is hard to form chemical bond and cannot cause mutual penetration and mutual dissolution. The application of silane coupling can strengthen the adhesion property between the resin model and sand. It can not only improve the organic bond between the resin and sand, but also can effectively reduce the quantity of gas evolution and porosity defects, improve the elevated temperature property and thermal stability, so as to improve the casting quality and keep cost down. The applicable silane coupling agents in Casting include CY-602、SCA-550、SCA-560 ect. If strength property is not concerned too much, the high boiling residues of some amino silanes could be widely considering the cost production.
